Mr. Blackstock serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Verde Strategy Consultants. He is a co-founder of the organization. He has over fifteen years experience in the Construction Industry with an extensive background in Land Acquisition & Entitlement, Commercial & Industrial Vertical Construction, Commercial, Industrial and Residential Site Development and Land & Neighborhood Planning. Mr. Blackstock has earned the designation of LEED AP by the standards and requirements set forth by The United States Green Building Council.

Prior to his current position with Verde Strategy Consultants, he served as Director of Operations for Regional General Contractor. While working as Director of Operations, Mr. Blackstock secured and managed projects for DuPont, Global Aeronautics, Boeing, The Department of Homeland Security, Roper/Saint Francis, and a multitude of municipalities. Mr. Blackstock has also served in the capacity of the Director of Land Development for one of the Nation's Largest Builders and as Vice-President for a regional general contractor in the Mid-Atlantic Region of the United States. He currently holds Class A licenses in Highway/Heavy, Water, Sanitary Sewer, Storm Sewer and Building classifications.

Mr. Blackstock credits his extensive management training with Organizational Development Associates Inc., Six Advisors, FMI, Harvard Business School, The USGBC and his wealth of practical experience in honing his overall management style.

Darren B. Leins
Business Development and Operations Officer

Mr. Leins serves as the Business Development and Operations Officer for Verde Strategy Consultants.  He has 12 years of experience in Land Acquisition and Entitlement, Design Build and Construction Management, Purchasing and Estimating.  Prior to Verde Strategy Consultants he served as the Director of the Project Management Department for a Regional Contractor in the southeastern United States which specialized in General Contracting and Sitework Construction.  During his experiences in the Commercial, Institutional and Residential construction industries he has recognized the need for Project Sustainability and its positive environmental impact.  His passion for the environment and his understanding of the significance of the “bottom line” impact, helped inspire Mr. Leins to found Verde Strategy Consultants.  Mr. Leins attributes his management style and business acumen to the lessons learned while in the Corporate World and while playing and coaching collegiate sports

Jason W. Ridinger, LEED GA

Mr. Ridinger recently joined Verde Strategy Consultants after several years of continuous success within the Construction Industry. Jason brings strong experience in operations, management and team leadership. Prior to joining Verde Strategy Consultants Jason served as Division President for one of the most recognized companies in the home building industry. Mr. Ridinger currently lives in the state of Virginia where he continues to show an outstanding, continuous record of developing business, exceeding company goals/standards and securing customer satisfaction. Prior to living in Virginia Jason gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in South Carolina where he was the Director of Construction for one of the Nations Largest Builders.

John W. Fleming, P.E.
Director of Design Services

Mr. Fleming serves as the Director of Design Services at Verde Strategy Consultants. John focuses on due diligence, site selection and zoning compliance issues. He enjoys the challenge of explaining engineering concepts to non-engineers in a ways that are clear and understandable. He routinely presents information to planning commissions, zoning boards of appeal and county/city councils to assisted clients throughout the United States.

During his career, John has worked on projects in more than 15 states with clients from individually owned small firms to large national originations.

John is a member of Chi Epsilon National Civil Engineering Honor Society, American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Engineers Without Borders – USA, US Green Building Council and ASTM. He actively serves on the ASCE National Committee for Career Development, and is a Director on the ASCE South Carolina state board. He is also a voting member of ASTM Committee F-17 and a Board Member of the Southern Carolina Regional Development Alliance.

John holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Clemson University and is a registered Professional Engineer in thirteen states.

Cheryl Anderson, LEED GA
National Sales Director

As the National Business Development Director, Cheryl works with a diverse group of clients with her specialty focusing on quality customer service. Her positive, can do approach draws on over 25 years in the homebuilding/real estate industries. Cheryl prioritizes her duties based on the client’s needs. Custom solutions to her clients’ needs are her main focus.

Cheryl focuses on supporting her staff with the tools necessary to provide Verde Strategy Consultants' clients with exemplary service from beginning to end. She is experienced in sales/management training and motivating others to achieve greater personal effectiveness.

Prior to joining Verde Strategy Consultants, Cheryl has had the distinction of working for several large national home builders as their Divisional Director of Sales. She managed large sales and administrative staffs and multi-million dollar budgets.

Cheryl has trained with Bob Schultz, Martin Freeland and Melinda Brody. She has also completed three levels of sales training with Ryland Homes, was an Annual National Finalist in Sales Person of the Year and employee of the year for C. Richard Dobson Builders. She has been a Broker-in-Charge since 1995 and is a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute. She has participated in Habitat for Humanity and is active with the Trident Literacy Association.
